Matrix Mortgages Ltd is a mortgage company, providing financial services including short term finance, bridging loans, investment property loans, residential loans, first and second mortgage loans and other general lending.
Matrix secures all it's loans against mortgage security over the borrowers' properties; it has no appetite for lending against cars or other chattel security. Additionally, Matrix does not lend on development properties; it requires fully built and certified properties as security for its loans.
Matrix also ensures that all the customers it lends money to, can afford the repayments via their current income, or, that the customer has a strategy to repay the loan within the term of the loan. If there is the slightest doubt that the borrower cannot afford the loan, then Matrix does not get involved in that transaction.
In addition Matrix requires that the customer pays the interest bill every month and does not permit capitalising the interest amount to the loan, which, effectively would allow the loan to increase after it has been paid out to the borrower.
Matrix secures it's loans against property security located in the main centres. This policy ensures that the property will always be in demand and is saleable in the event that the loan has to be repaid through realization of the security.
The are experienced bankers and successful business leaders who have held general management positions in major banks and finance companies. As such, they are well experienced in the areas of risk assessment and management.
